I just got my WD running a couple of weeks ago and only used it about 4 times for 20 minutes max. I went to use it today and the engine wouldn't turn by battery power so I tried turning it with the hand crank and it wouldn't budge, took the spark plugs out to relieve compression and it wouldn't turn after that either. Its got plenty of oil and the anti-freeze is full too.
So my questions are what would have caused it to freeze up all of a sudden and how can it be fixed? |

Well I took the starter out a bit and the engine turned by hand, so what needs to be fix the starter or flywheel? The starter spins the engine when partly out.

Take the starter completely out and look at the end of it to see if the snout is still good.

Sometimes wear to either the ring gear or the bendix gear causes the starter to jam - I have one tractor on which that happens occasionally. Remember, these girls are 60 years old!
