Been seeming to have troubles with the wd carb on the puller was wondering if a bigger carb would bolt up. This engine is a 240 cube engine at stock rpm (2.5 mph limit is why) I have read there is more than 1 spacing on the manifold bolt holes. Anyhow anyone know of a carb that bolts up

what # carb you running?  I would think  a tsx464 would work just fine for 240 cubes.
as far as i know the spacing on wc-d17 all the same, just different bores

I use a TSX464 on the mildly built 240 inch engine in my WC. It works great! These carbs are found on WD45s & early D17s. The stock WD air cleaner hose will be too small, but I engineered my own clamp on paper filter arrangement.
