I bought a spray can of Rustoleum "Allis Chalmers Orange" to paint my WD45 seat. It's not even close to the Persian orange. It's too bright but a seat cover will hide it.
Does anyone know who makes a rattle can of P Orange that's close to original? Is it available? I tried to search this forum but could not see any posts about it. Thanks |

Yesterday's Tractors used to sell it and so did Sandy Lake. I have gotten from both within the last couple of years.

O'Rielly's can put it in a rattle can in the correct color with hardener. Works good. Fact of the matter I have a can of it setting in the laundry room. Leon

I saw some for sale on Amazon, 1 and 2. Haven't bought any just yet, but now I'm not sure I'll go that route. Good suggestions in this thread. Thanks.

Have used AMAC in the past It is a good match and it sprays just great. Usually buy it by the case during the warmer weather. Great for small parts.

Thanks everyone for the info.
I also found this paint: Sparex S.118504 for PO1. http://us.sparex.com/paint-gloss-orange-spray-aerosol-118504.html I'll get a can and try it out. Sparex looks to be a supplier from the UK for several years for both parts and paint. |
