I haven't checked in for a while. Wow! What a change!!

Dumb question: The front pedestal on my '52 WD narrow front is supposd to be filled to 2/3 of worm gear level (I think this is what the manual said) with 140 lube. There is also a grease zerk on the pedestal that appears to feed into the same cavity. This is supposed to be lubed every 8 hours (again, I think). Is this right? Are they mixing the 140 lube and the grease? If so, why?; and how many strokes from a handpump gun should be put in regularly?
I thought I remember lubing in the past and the grease came out near the bottm of the pedestal by the hubs. I may be rembering incorrectly, as it sure didn't happen yesterday when I lubed it. I think the grease went mostly in the cavity.
Any help would be great.
Thanks!
