I feel dumb for asking this, but I’m perplexed.    I recently rewired my WD. I replaced the headlights with LED’s.   When I took the headlights apart, the seal was in pieces.    I ordered new ones and went to put them on tonight and I’m not sure how they go on.   Flaking the old gasket off, it looks like the small diameter of the seal goes toward the inside of the reflector.    But what keeps the lens centered?   Ies anyone have a picture of how this is supposed to be assembled?

Also, second question, does anyone have a part number for a regular sealed beam that will fit in there?

.

My WD is still factory 6volt. I replaced the bulbs with LED bulbs that are 6v/12v ... But the LEDs seem to need negative ground. Mine is still positive ground.

I'll convert when the factory system gives me an unreliable reason someday. Then that's it and 12v neg ground for you!

It would be nice to have lights. I bought a pair of sealed LED pickup rollbar lights at $20/pair for my 55 Ferguson and they are super bright. My tractors need to be workday reliable not necessarily show room original.

My had already been converted to 12v with the negotiate ground.    I was off work for a few weeks after a surgery and was bored.    I replaced the switch and next think you know I was rewiring the whole thing.

It's very easy to convert your 6 volt system to negative ground and keep your generator and everything else 6 volt.
