Found the culprit clogging the outlet to the fuel tank on my WD. Some time back, I made a gasket for the tank cap out of neoprene, it got gooey soft, some pieces fell off, into the tank, and eventually into the sediment bowl inlet. Bottom of the tank is shiny clean, so there's a reason to be thankful! I'll be more careful from now on........O_O

Why is there never time to do it right the first time, but always time to go back and fix it?

We sealed the gas guage on the D14 and got gasket sealer in the tank. Same result, clogged the sediment bowl.

That RTV Slicone Sealer swells up like a toad when gas gets to it. I tried sealing a leaky sediment bowl gasket wth it and it puckered half way down into the bowl.

Well the good part is you didn't need to seal the tank.
