I got a call from a guy yesterday looking for front steel wheels for a WD, thats right a WD.  He claims his uncle bought one new with steel all the way around.  Has anyone ever seen a WD on steel?  Anyone have any fronts for a WD?  If so how much?
  Thanks,
  Joe

The gentleman may be right. I saw a WD on steel once at a show in Canada. It had normal WC front steel. The rears were a steel ring like the WC style with the center cast hubs removed and modified to fit the pressed steel WD centers. The pwr adjust eccentrics were removed and loops were bolted onto the WD centers. This was about 20 years ago, and i didn't have a camera with me.
Pre-WW2 A-C tractors on steel wheels...because I'm too cheap to buy tires!
