Went to the local dealership today to order a new set of piston rings for the WD 45.. seems the oil rings on the kit they gave me are a quarter inch thick and the grooves in my Pistons are only three sixteenths. the other rings grooves measure 3/32 on the top, and 1/8 for the two middle rings. a little different as well from A&I, Howard's, and Tisco.. does this make sense to anyone here and if it does what do I have for Pistons and where do I get a ring kit for them.. mind you these Pistons come out of my 45, I am just doing an overhaul due to the motor throwing a rod and I had to get a new block and different sleeves...
