WD 45 jumping

   We have a WD45 that every so often seems like something is binding up in the trans. since it feels stiff when in gear and once out of gear it coasts like it should. Only notice it when I have it in gear with the clutch depressed otherwise it seems fine.  I figure I should look it over before something fails in a bad way.   I am pretty certain I have something going on in the trans.  The question is there anything common that goes wrong I should be looking for?  I have a service manual but thought I would ask here for some tips prior to opening it up for a look see.

	If the lift lever is in the lift position it will cause that feeling when useing the foot clutch.

	Mine felt like that too.... had to replace the rear end cuz one of the bearings in the housing failed and cracked the housing... I hope this is not your issue.

	We had this same thing happen to ours and it was the lift pump cuasing this. check out the pump and its setting. the one with a turn srew on it.

	Nope not the hydraulics, definitly in the trans/diff area. I noticed moving in and out of the barn today that when it tends to do this is when the tractor is in gear and the clutch is pressed in. If when I have the clutch in and bump it into neutral it will coast like it should. Furthermore, it doesn't seem to make any difference which gear it is in. My initial guess would be that this is related to the drive gear out of the trans. that turns the ring gear. Anyone run into anything close to this or have any advise?
