My '44 WC has been modified to soften the seat by cutting down the support spring.  Not a bad idea I suppose for a shorter or lighter driver but.......I'm 6'3" and about 205 so:

Does anyone have an extra seat spring laying around?

And in reference to the fellow a little ways down; is the seat spring from an unstyled WC compatible with my styled version?

Thanks in advance,

Bruce

If your talking about the cone shaped spring, I thought someone told me once that that style seat came on other tractors besides Allis so they are not specific to the WC's. Could be wrong?

Here is one on ebay. Both the styled and unstyled used the same spring as far as I know.

The cone shaped spring would be for an after market set up. Steiners has the coil springs like what was used on a Farmall M.
