Does anyone know what the original color of the rims on the WC speed patrols was? Mine is a 1941. Were the rims galvanized? Painted silver? Painted orange? Thanks.

I'd be interested in your findings. My guess is that the rims are orange, but it will be interesting to see what you come up with.

I don"t know either. I painted mine orange ,but have seen most painted silver, mine is a galvanized rim , but painted. mines a 1946.

I have over 10 differan type's of Lit. for these all show the light color.No orange rims front or rear .Take your pick to paint gary ,silver or Gal. them . Good luck
