I should have learned from being a member of this forum, tractor shows are dangerous and rides more so.  My wife is now the proud owner of an Allis-Chalmers WC (long story for another post.  It's a 1937 or 47 but I need some help with the S/N.  The tractor has been repainted and the S/N is either WCI70966 or WC170966.  Were there any WC's with a "WCI" serial number or does it have to be WC1.  Any assistance would be appreciated.  By the way, it purrs like a kitten.

A 37 is unstyled and a 47 is styled unless someone swapped rearends. Should be easy to decern the difference.

This is definately styled.  Previous owner listed as a 1939 but any of the three possible years, it was still a good tractor for a good price.

Thanks for the help.
