Sorry of the car question but I'll bet someone here has the answer. We were just given a '95 Chevy Lumina LS with the 3.1 V6 . Its seems to have a OBD 1 diagnostic system , how ever it only has 2 contacts in the data port, one above the other, I can't find a code reader for this. OBD 1 reader only include the 4.3 in the '95 Caprice. Anyone know what code reader this thing takes and is there a way to get it to self diagnose? I know there's chevy wizards in this Allis family. Thanks to all Timok1

Usually with ODB1 you just need to cross the pins and then the SES light on the dash will blink the code number then you just look it up. Probably give you the code for oxygen sensor

Thanks CG828 ,the Haynes manual instructs me to do this except it says the pins are beside each other and this port has the pins on above and below each other. I didn't wamt to fry the puter. On the Lumina board it said the '95 is a transition year between the 1 and 2 obd systems
