Interesting to see the difference in air temp as air enters and exits intercooler. There using car exhaust, so how real life are these temp numbers on a turbo diesel ? I realize a lot of parameters play a part in the result.

When using a air to water intercooler with a ice box. You can get your air down to around 40 degrees and keep it there for the hole pass.

A good air to water intercooler is the cheapest power you can add to a turbocharged diesel puller. The power will go up and the ft. lbs. of torque will increase dramatically. Anyone who pulls (and the rules allow) should have one. It will also allow you to turn a larger turbo as it "fools" the turbo into thinking the engine is bigger than it really is.
