Here's a couple of pictures of all the fun you guys missed. 2 inches of rain the night before didn't help matters. Of all the sales I have ever been to, this one could of been managed a little better. I don't know if it was the owner or the auction company, but they had some things listed to sell Fri. and didn't sell until Sat. Also they didn't have much to help you load. A gentleman I talked to who bought a WF, when they loaded the tractor for him, and he only gave them $20 they told him they got a $100 out of the last guy. In my opinion for what it's worth, if they would of had the loader at the beginning of the sale, things would of probably brought more. I had a lot of fun, but know a lot of guys weren't too happy. Here's a few prices, I think they are pretty acurate. I was too busy talking with people.
8 sided Neon Clock - $1000 ( it went to SWIA)
6-12 - $34,000
M-7 snow tractor- $8000
A- $14,100
A serial # 75702- $25,000
A serial # 75703- $12.500 ( I heard it was stuck)
United U- $2800
Rumely 6- $6700
Rumely 2030- $12,000
D-19 LP- $1900
CA - $925
Unstyled WF's 134 & 135 - 1 brought $3300 and 1 brought $2750 (I think)
A Industrial Oilfield - $6200
Only a couple of the tractors were restored. A surprising number were stuck.

Boy, it was muddy Fri. and things seemed to go on the reasonable to lower side. Iron man got a lot of snap coupler plows! I wasn't aware they were charging for loading. Seems they should have someone there with a loader to help with that. All auctions I've been to have. That doesn't impress me. Heard someone from Illinois bought the 6-12 and 30-60. Did the bidding over the phone.

It was a private collection for Ernest Nutsch. I don't know if the 6-12 was stuck, it was one of the few restored ones. I don't know what the 33 brought, but it was made up of several tractors and not correct.

If you are talking about the 1933 replica which was in pieces, it brought $2,900. Nothing was mentioned about the 6-12 being stuck. It looked very nice.

I returned Sunday to load my tractor, the loaders brought over an air compressor and aired up all four tires and then helped me try to start it to no avail. They pulled it up on the trailer and told me to have a good day and took off. We'd spent some time chatting during the whole process so I got to know what they'd gone through for the past several months fighting mud and snow just getting ready for the sale. That's no excuse for rude behavior however I never experienced any. Also the tractor started within 30 minutes after unloading. Quite amazing what a point file can do.

I understand the owner decided to sell everything and move to Wichita. Did anyone talk with him and get an idea if he was happy with the sale? Sounds like some stuff went kind of cheap but when you have that much stuff in this economy, you have to take what you can get. Wish I had attended but the H3 that sold for $7,200 is about twice what I would have wanted to spend.

the jet engine might have got a bid of 7,500,but it did not sell,he wanted 100,000 for it but would have taken 50,000,i talked to some people that bought one of the a's,there were other things that appeared to sell for a price ,but didn't,so...there you go

I believe he bought that jet engine at a sale near Waukee, IA., 10 plus years ago. I can't remember the figure for sure, but I think it sold for under $1000. So $7500 would look like a pretty good profit to me. But he owns it, so he can price it as he wants.
