Poor ol' gal... She's seen a lot of use...  and I'm ashamed to admit, some neglect.

I noticed a radiator leak late this fall... stop leak fixed it fer now.

Now though, once she warms up, she starts to die under load... If I slow her down to idle she'll keep running and then can take off again for a little bit... then she'll start to kill again under load (pushing snow with an oxnard blade)...

It's almost like a fuel starvation problem...  that's the first thing I'm gonna check.  Did notice the carb icing up a bit, but I'm used to that and so is she...  I know the float is sticking and not shutting off fuel flow to carb... and I don't think it's sticking closed so as not to allow fuel flow...

Any other thoughts?  It's a WD with some other engine in it... a CA maybe...  I haven't yet found the engine serial number (at least not where it's supposed to be).

Check to make sure you have good fuel flow to the carb. Does pulling the choke out help for a little bit before it wants to die? Junk in the tank blocking off the fuel flow could be what's going on.

I had the same problem on Sat. while trying to push snow. Had to run the choke completely closed just to get it to the shop. I pulled the carb off and cleaned it inside and out and now it runs great.  Had crud in the carb so I am assuming it was blocking an internal passage.

Don't forget to check the flow from the gas tank.  We had a B with a rag in the tank that stopped from time to time when the rag restricted the gas flow to the carb.  Also, you may want to check the settlement bowl for restricted flow there too.
Good Luck!

Icing on the carb can cause those symptoms. I made a shield out of some scrap tin to put from the frame rail to the hood to hold some heat in around the carb and it helps. If you let it idle till some heat builds up in the manifold that will help reduce the icing also. The faster the engine runs the more the carb will ice up.

The choke plate in my WD45 came loose from the linkage once and was partly on when I thought it was off. Did something similar to what you describe.

I would have to say fuel restriction.  My D14 had the same problem in the summer.  I found a ladybug in the outlet of the strainer.

Had a similar issue on one of my tractors. Though it should have had nothing to do with whether the engine was warm or not, the tractor always started and ran okay for a while, then would lose power and run poorly. Found the foil seal from a jug of dry gas (I suppose) floating around in the gas tank. Every now and then it would obstruct the outlet from the tank! Fished it our with one of those grabbers on a flexible rod and cured that problem.

After checking out the fuel system, if the problem persists, install new points and condensor.  If that does not solve it, substitute a good coil for the one now on the tractor.
Why is there never time to do it right the first time, but always time to go back and fix it?

Might be a good idea to check the crankcase breather on the valve cover also.  I've heard of a D-17 engine running bad because the breather was plugged.  Just a thought...

Sorry I did not say this first.  When the engine slows when heated I have to agree with Osage_Orange - look at the condenser (cheap) then the coil.
Steve at B&B has the right one.
Good Luck!

Should have remembered the coil - my CA would behave just as you are describing. Changed out the coil and it's run fine ever since.

I'd check your fuel bowl first...shut off fuel then remove bowl, turn fuel back on and see if fuel flows good ,( make sure you have a catch can) sometimes crud gets stuck in the section between tank and shut off valve, it's happened to me a few times ,a real head scratcher . compressed air and a ice pick helped take care of that problem.  John
