I don't have a tailgate but this reminds me of a story. Left my pickup at work one night about 30 years ago and when I got there the next morning the tailgate and both doors were gone. Wonder if I ever saw them again on someone elses truck.

Seems like you got lucky. They must not have liked your paint job/color,cause once inside only 30 second more they could of drove it away.

prolly left it down and backed into sumpthin….or....fergots to put it down when pulling away from the gooseneck! that's o-k Darrell...happens to the best of us! I've never bent a tailgate before myself...shot a hole thru one one time tho
