Looking for starter switch for Autolite starter on my C.  All I have found so far are for Delco and they don't fit on the Autolite.  Any NOS out there??

I ground a notch in the back of one off of a delco and made it fit an autolite about ten years ago and as far as I know it's still working. I also had to have the starter rebuilt which was very pricey. If I had it to do over I would have found a delco.

The number on plate is MAW 4031.  As far as notching delco switch, the autolite switch body is slightly longer.  Do the mounting holes need to be redrilled as well?

Check with Steve B&B Circuits.  He is our resident electrical expert.

Have one Autolite starter off a C that we just converted to a solenoid with a push button. Works great!

The switch had to be spread open a little because the holes on the delco switch were closer together. I did egg shape the holes I think. It's been several years ago.
