I have a D17 Series III that needs an engine overhaul and am trying to decide whether to have it rebuilt locally or purchase a rebuilt long block and install it myself. Therefore, I need to check on the price and availability of a rebuilt long block. Also would like to know what experience others have had with rebuilt long blocks. Thanks.
