Basically any 'Kohler 15 amp' rectifier-regulator will work,over the counter they're close to $100 !!!! That's one reason why I made my own,just don't send the 'correct cops' knockin' on my door !
ps. be sure you have a good ground when you install it .

100 I found that out today.  Iam going to try the junk yards in the A.M.    I just got layed off so buying new parts is being put off. Last weeks 160 starter set me back on toy money

yup, you can probably buy a whole 'dead on axle'  lawn tractor for $50 down there.Salvage what you need then resell the carcass to scrapyard.
