Mark,  If you know me you know I would definitely go for the IB.  It is a neat compact tractor.  Not that many were made so it may have some collection value.
That said, the RC is an even more rare unit.  They were made in the late 41's to 42.  Basically they were a WC frame with an upgraded B engine.  The most notable identifying item is the long pedestal before the radiator cowl - it is filled in with a metal plate.  No hyd. but a rather rare unit.  Others can tell but I am certain not that many were made.
Best wishes on your choice.  Really, I don't think you can go wrong with either.

I am looking around trying to get best deal , I have found a pair of RC in Ill. that I am leaning towards just dont know how I am going to explain to wife just yet....... thats always the hard part around here.Thanks for all the help

Good luck getting any kind of deal on either model. RC's and IB's are collector tractors. Most guys who have them know what they have.

Know what you mean about presenting to the wife about something you want to buy but really don't need. (but you really need it for your Allis addiction and therapy)
That's always been my biggest challenge and it seems to get tougher as I get older.
But I always manage to compromise with her and win out.

RC production ran from 1939 to 1941 as a lower cost, lower HP alternative to the WC, sharing attachments with the WC.  Only 5501 were built, I have RC4581 and enjoy it immensely.  Good Luck!

Thanks guys for all the help I"m still looking , had a pair found in Ill, and told guy I would call him this morning to let him know what I was going to do that I didnt need two but my buddy was 99% sure he would take the other one, but I told GAYLE  that he wanted to look at the pictures he sent me first. Called him this morning and he said they were sold .... So what do you do  but keep looking .........................
