Hi, I bought an Allis Chalmers tractor 12 or so years ago and was wondering how I might go about finding how much it might be worh now.  We were told from a collector friend that it is probably a 1962 D19.  We cannot find a serial number on it.  Can anyone tell me what something like this might sell for?  If we can find a smaller tractor to replace it, we would like to sell it as it is a bit large for our purposes.  Thanks very much for your time.  :-)

Serial no is on the back cover of rear end on the top left side, I would guess to say a running d-19 thats in good overall shape would be worth 4000.00 to 4500.00 price range. I have a 62 model and would rather take a beating than sell it, there getting hard to find and they are a hoss.

The serial number is behind the seat to the right.....is it gas or diesel?  Makes a big difference. Factory 3pt? Tranny stay in all gears?

The tractor is in good running condition, is a diesel turbo charged model.  I will look for the serial number in the places you suggested.  Thanks very much for your help with this.  :-)
