Just curious as to the benefits of "Breakaway" couplers. I've never had them on a tractor and never had any issues.

I had a disc that the keeper on the hitch pin fell out which allowed the hitch pin to come out and left disc behind. The break away couplers saved any damage to hoses and the like.

A blanket statement "Pioneer couplers are break-away" simply isn't true. Pioneer brand has both types....break-away and NON-breakaway.
