Hey Jim, the mylar are closer to original, but the vinyl are a much nicer decal. For example the vinyl "Allis Chalmers" decal has individually cut letters, the mylar ones are a big rectangle. The vinyl are very easy to apply as well.

I vote for the individual style vinyl cut and agree they are very easy to install.
