i was at an auction yesterday and there was 2 sets (4 total) allis chalmers rear weights for d series and i really wanted to by them. last year i had bought 2 sets at the same sale for 150 a set. this year they sold them by the individual wieght and i was about to bid on them when some really old guy that could barely walk bids them up to 200 dollars a weight and he took all 4 of them. i doubt he could even lift a weight. pissed me off bc all the old antique tractors where going for cheap, a wc styled went for like 600 and was in avg working condition and a wd45 with 3pt and powersteering sold for 1150. a d17 that didnt run and had a 3 pt sold for 1250. why are prices so crazy. i seen a 5050 in great shape with a loader at an auction thats tomorrow. does anyone have any guesses on a price for that?
