This was my late Grand Father's D17 before I sold it, His dairy barn in the background burnt to the ground 2 weeks after I took this photo.

Do'oH! A secret agent took this pic to be used against me. I thought, after the fact, that it was a pretty cool pic.

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for much of anything but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Oldoug, That Homesteader mower looks just like the one in an older post of mine that is growing up in someone's yard.

Old Doug:

The picture of the "Homesteader" - that man, that hat, those coveralls & boots, plus the small boy on his lap - same exact outfit my grandpa was wearing of the only photo I have of him & me(except on his Farmall). Woulda been 1957-58 - but WHAT A MEMORY!

(He wouldn't have been a Methodist too, by any chance?!)

Don, I know this is not about Allis-Chalmers but it just so happens that my papaw's name is Oliver. Better yet this November he will turn the big 70. When that day comes I think it would only be right to have his picture taken on this. Do you guys agree?

I am still confident of this;
I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Ps 27

The tractor is gone, moved and sold it. The boys are too old, adjusted seats for the granddaughters now. But that is why you take pictures-you'll always have the memories.
