Are the unstyled WC fenders the same? I have a brand new set... I know the styled fenders for the WC are different from the styled WF. Clamshell design is the same, but the mounting brackets are in different positions...

The unstyled WF fenders are indeed shorter than the WC's When I did mine I used the inner panel from the old WF fenders and then put cut down (shorter) WC fender on them. I used pan head stove bolts to fasten them to the brackets and filled the screw driver slot with bondo to look like the rivets originally used.
