So I had my genny on the B rebuilt as it was locked up. The guy put a new regulator or whatever it is on it (solid state) and now I went to hook it up and drat if I can remember which wire is the ground and which one goes on the regulator.
One wire is black and by itself in the bundle, the other one comes out of the bundle about 2 inches higher and is short while another at the same spot goes to the headlight and the another longer one goes over to the Mag. So I wired the black to ground, the other short one to the regulator and before I hooked the battery up I am nervous as I don't want to burn up the genny and spend another $200. The guy also said to NEVER pull the switch all the way out as this genny puts out a lot more power and it might harm something. So do I have it right? |
