Just wondering, does anybody have pics of a 1936 U oil filter assembly? I have a 1936 serial 12343 and it has the purolator setup. Is this original or after market?

Kind of what I thought, the reading was just worded confusing. You wouldn't also know where I could find a transmission dust boot for my U would you? And where I'd put it? My manual lists one but I have no idea how I'd put it on with the shifter.

I have pictures of an original one that is on a u that is bolted to a wakashu mz. It is leather and is sewn across the bottom. It is held on with a small wire twisted in the groove on the housing. I can't post pics here anymore with my phone. PM me your phone # and I can text them to ya. Don't see why you couldn't just unscrew the knob and slide it down and in place.
