We've been using an 80R behind a WD45 and D15 and it's been a great mower. Now that we've got a D12 with 3 pt. and fully independent PTO I was thinking of moving to a NH 451. Seems like it would be more user friendly when having to stop and shift into reverse to unplug the mower, etc. Never used a NH before, but have read good things about them from other sites. How do they compare to the A-C Twin Wheel mowers? Will the D12 handle the 451 ok (7 ft. cut)? Will the 451 be compatible with the WD45 and D15 by using a 3 pt conversion? I like the idea of NH parts availability as we have 2 good dealers nearby, plus they carry a lot of aftermarket stuff at TSC and Rural King. Thanks for any opinions.

The 450/451 NH are good machines, quite a few still around, and can be quite pricey for a nice one.  However, youre right parts are still available and you could rebuild one if you found a decent one.

Had an 80T (7' cut) behind my CA and it worked great; don't see any reason why a D12 (with mire HP) would have difficulty properly adjusterd 7' mower.
What this country needs is more unemployed politicians-and lawyers.
Currently have: 1 D14 and a D15S2.

The 450/451 are good mowers but you need to me carefull backing up with it on the ground or dropping it on the ground hard the drivin pulley can brake from hitting the ground. I know all about that first hand. One more thing you will need to remove the rear step/PTO cover on the WD to mount 451 on it, the top link bar will hit the step/PTO cover.
3 WD45's with power steering,G,D15 fork lift,D19, W-Speed Patrol, "A" Gleaner with a 330 corn head,"66" combine,roto-baler, and lots of Snap Coupler implements to make them work for their keep.
