Broken wrist pin on the 180. Broken clutch shaft of the 200. Possible engine damage on the 200. So much for the points race this year for the 180. They always run best just before they blow up.

Were they still running the stock clutch shaft or ?? It was time for me to upgrade that when I decided to quit...jus curious...

I think it was a stock shaft - not sure. The stock shaft is made of pretty good stuff, but everything has a threshold. Metal fatigue catches up to everything eventually. A clutch shaft catches a lot of hell in one of these as you well know.

Did the 200 over rev when the shaft broke? They run a bunch of rpms dont they?
