Thought I would start a thread showing my AC toy collection. I was wondering if anyone else has the 160? I bought the only one I have ever seen sell on ebay. I have also customized the whole 8000 series with decals and and tinkered with some of the rear axles to make the 2wd 8010 w/out duals. I would like others to share there's as well. Its not something I have seen much of on the forum. Thanks Brad Smile

These are a few of my toy collection that I have on display.  I have some more that do not have the boxes that are put away.  I have never collected any of the new toys made today.  I try to stick to the old original toys that were made back when I was a kid and ALLIS-CHALMERS was still in business.

If you enjoy AC toys and haven't seen it yet, you gotta look at my friend Armand's site. Most his models have been highly customized or built from scratch.

Toy collecting is a serious addiction for sure!...and for as much as I enjoy collecting, that if I had back what I've invested in tractors, Nascar, muscle and sprint cars, and toy trucks, I could probably own a nice D21...ugh!   Now all I need is a wife who feels I deserve 2/3rds of the house to display them all...it would sure beat all her Foo-Foo items and boring ol' family photos...lol    Right now, this is the only cabinet that "Congress" hasn't vetoed, in my added attempts to display more.  After I took these pics, I realized how much I've been neglecting my dusting duties...ugh!

You don't see many of the 160 toys for sale.  Hopefully someday I can find one.  Nice seeing some great collections of AC toys!

I don't have a big toy collection yet.  Other than the D21 I have a full size version of each, I think that means I need a real D21.

Finally, something in my area! Since I no longer own any full size AC, I don't get to contribute much! I'm very fortunate that my wife has given me the basement for my collection. In addition to the tractors, I've got a 1/64 layout of an AC farmstead and a tribute to my father-in-law, a 1/64 layout of a Case-IH dealership. He was a mechanic for International then Case-IH for 46 years. So I've got some red in the collection too. Oh yeah...last two pics are of our main bathroom. Go orange or go home!

Randy

Thanks, I'm pretty lucky! I haven't done anything inside the dealership yet. The machine shed on the farmstead houses the farmer's collection of antique tractors. Is that what you were looking at?
