If you had a choice between 11.2-38,11.2-36 or 14.9-28 in a stock class, what would you run? Would a wc with a fresh d17 engine spin out 11.2-38 @ 3500lb? Thanks---

I wud run 14.9 28's . I did well with those in a firestone field and road . Little easier to find . Will be no troubles with the 17 engine

One other advantage in our club a division is our stock class the rules state 1st gear only with a WC on 38s you'll have an nice speed advantage with those kind of rules. Just a thought

Just located a set of 14.9-28 firestone all traction field and roads. Guy says the have 90-95% tread left, going to get them next week.

What is difference between atfr and tfr? Do they have more bars?
Are they good pullers? Thanks

It's cool you are able to find tires !! But they are too tall yet. Are they old and cured ? Just remember full lug tires piles dirt infront of the buck board. Finding the right tires is tuff!! Especially when they tripled in prices !
