Ok guys I have taken off the crank case cover and cleaned out the crankcase, here is my next question.............................do I let the crankcase dry out before putting good oil back in...............it seems if I put fresh oil in the left over diesel would contaminate it.......................let me know guys and thanks ya'll are a great help and a blessing

I spray my projects out with gasoline. It removes all of the oil and sludge, and it also evaporates pretty quickly. Otherwise I would flush it out with some light weight oil. |
