I got the block for my 59 D14 hot tanked and cleaned. A hairline crack was found near the top between the 3rd and 4h cylinder.
I would like to confirm that this will not pose any problems. If my memory serves me correct, a block that has a crack near the bottom is no good for anything (except meybe a boat anchor).
Thanks in advance for the feedback.

It's rare to find a block w/o those cracks, well, maybe not rare, but the cracks are pretty common and are not a problem

If it is hair line crack most are no problem ,BUT it is not in front of me and I can not see how it is .Any close up pictures?.
If it is a hair line crack, when you drop sleeves with out O-ring check sleeve height.Would not hert to deck block and cut counter bores.
