Went to the CONEXPO show at West Allis today and decided to check out the AC factory site. Was surprised by how many of the old buildings are still there. After that, my freind Dave and I drove to the old engineering test facility in Racine county. Dave worked at this site in 1983 to 1985, and we were both surprised that the buildings are still standing. The main building appears empty and unused, and a block building to the east that Allis used mainly for storage is occupied by an excavating company. Dave had great stories about testing prototypes and other events at the site. Thanks Dennis
