I own a 1953 WD-45 that I have a 3 point hitch and a blade that I move snow with and when I go to lift the 3 point and blade to stack the snow higher the three point won't go up unless I pull forward and push the lever down and back up again, it also lifts the 3 points slow most of the time. I have already moved the flow control screw all of the way out. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

It sounds like the valves inside the sleeves are sticking some assuming your linkage is putting pump in full lift mode.The screw your talking about is the one down in/on front of pump body right?If external linkage is correct it's possible to have wear issues inside control linkage housing on back of pump but I'd go there last.Does it get better as is warms up?First easy things are double check linkage setup and change fluid.When draining be sure to take the 1/8in plug out off rear hsg to get it all.My 45 does same thing sometimes but always when cold.

You could try moving the hydraulic lever to the lift position, put the tractor in neutral, set the brakes, dismount the tractor and try to move the linkage manually.  If it raises by moving the pump linkage manually, it`s a linkage problem.  If it doesn`t, it is more than likely a pump problem.  Make sure it is full of hydraulic oil.

I tried changing the fluid and adjusting the linkage, niether of which worked. I did notice that they work fine until a load is applied, it almost acts like it is relieving all the pressure when you apply a load to the hydraulics while they are trying to lift.

You could have a hydraulic cylinder packing starting to leak past. That would actually get worse the warmer the fluid gets. Does the blade leak down if left in the up position?
