Ok folks, been spending some time on my d17 resealing the rear end and doing the brakes. The brakes had all the adustment taken out of them prior to me taking the brakes apart. I thought i would find no brake shoes left as the tractor felt like it had no brakes. After removing the mouse nest and grimy build up(needs seals replaced) I noticed the shoes didnt look all that bad. So i took a caliper to the brake drum and it measured 7 5/8". I got to looking for a spec in my manuals and all i can find is 7 7/8". I dont know if this is a minimum or max drum size?? Are new drums still available for this tractor?? 1 drum also has a crack in it(probably not a big deal).
