It thru a rod pushing snow when it had the loader on it. Then it sat outside under the trees for about 8 years. Finally pulled it in the shop and got to work

Actually the fenders that were on it were toast. We ordered some aftermarket ones and we aren't exactly happy with them but they work and look good from a distance. Thanks for the compliments

thanks everybody, project took 2 years and finally happy to be down with it, Taking it to the iowa state fair in a couple weeks to compete with other FFA members restorations, sure glad titan tire donates the tread, really helps out! the reason on the fenders is because there brand new aftermarkets they arent as wide as the older ones, i think its like a inch shorter our something, and when we got them they needed alot of body work, their not prefect by no means, but its going to be a working tractor. been a fun project and really enjoy working on them, been wanting to start up a small biusness someday.

Awesome tractor, I hope mine turns out that well. If you don't mind sharing, what rebuild parts did you use to get the 56hp dyno?

Nice job. I was just thinking I wish mine looked as nice. Glad to hear you will be working it I think they are happiest when they are working. I have been cutting some really late second crop the last few days and my d17 is running smother after working hard she doesn't like to idle and split wood....
Once again great job it is really nice to see them restored. I agree with the aftermarket fenders I bought a pair and they are thinner metal and came all dented I wasn't impressed with them. |
