I have a customer looking for a block heater for a Two-Ten tractor. He does not want a tank heater. The old A-C number for the block heater is 70256703 and has been discontinued. Any help NOS or aftermarket would be helpful.
Thanks.

I don't think there are a lot of choices besides a tank heater, perhaps a heater in the lower radiator hose? The 7000 series used kit number 71281491, it was a machinery item number and nearly impossible to find in parts books, but I don't think there is a place to install it on the 220 block. I think it needs to have the later oil cooler in order to have the orifice to install it. Are there any freeze plugs on the block to install a freeze plug heater? I don't remember seeing any frost plugs, but there might be something accessible.

If it weren't for the last minute, I wouldn't get anything done!

To clarify If i remember correctly the block heaters were different i spent some time trying to find a block heater for our d-21 and the 7000 series were different than the 210-220 that's when i found the one for the 210 would fit the d-21 it isn't as deep as the 7000 series. Hope that helps

I have the one from zero start already. The heating element is about as long as the 7000 sereies one's from AGCO which will not fit in the Two-Ten if I remember correctly. Thanks for all the replies. |
