I need a little advise on the magneto on my M.  I have spark for number 1 and 4 but not for 2 or 3.  I took the cover off, cleaned it up, put it back and still nothing.  I forgot to write down the number on the mag, but I will get it tomorrow.
  Thanks,
  Joe

Probably an H4 Mag. That problem could be as simple as a bad plug or two. Do a continuity test on the wires and make sure the wires are okay. Hairline crack across the end cap from opposite terminals would cause a misfire on two cylinders also. Might need a magnafing glass to find the crack in the cap unless the tracking is evedent. Moisture under the cap can also cause that problem. HTH

The mag is an American Bosch MRF 4 A 322.  Can parts still be found for these?
