Starting in on the D-21 Restoration, Have strong interest in the 24.5x32 rims and centers in Maryland. But wondering if I would be better off if I put on 18.4x 38's instead. Tractor currently has 34's. Are there any 38's out there for sale?

The 18.4-38 look kinda grows on ya after a while, at least it did on me with the 220? On 18.4s the tractor is narrower in my crowded shed space and we dual it up for spring work. When I was looking a couple years ago I had no troubles finding decent used tires mounted up as either type duals in 18.4-38. With new tires now at $1000.00 per each used has gone up also.
 Good luck!

I will have 2 available this spring as I have some 20.8 to put on my 210.  They are Goodyear on non-powershift rims.

If you find a 200 or 7000 with 18.4 x 38's get the complete rim and cast center and they will fit the D21 axle.

I have a pair of 18.4-38 wheels.  Tiress are about 50%, rims good, cast centers but no wedges.  They are in SW Iowa.

How much for what you have? I'm making the assumption my wedges will work.

I have seen D21's with 23.1x34's.  I pretty sure the guys split the rim and added 4 inches or so to the rim.  That way you keep your 34" cast centers.  They weren't offered with 23.1x34 tires but they look good with them imo.  Maybe a tire guy could chime in but  i think they would be pretty close in height to the 24.5x32 and 18.4x38.  don't blame ya for goin bigger, D21's look kinda anemic with 18.4x34's

My D-21 came with 18.4 x 34 duals. I had a pair of 23.1 x 34 so we added 4" into the four rims and found a set of tires from a Gleaner L2 for the duals. Your best bet to find 23.1's other than new is from old Gleaners. White is about the only company that used that size on new tractors.
Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed
