i can get a complete 226 out of a combine but i was wondering what all i need and or change to get it to run.. i know ill need the gov off the tractor plus the bell housing.. anything esle needed or missed
if farming was easy everybody would be doing it

  change gov. setup--wAter pump--carb linkage-throttle shaft or put the one from tractor---done many    1-574-342-4545

The whole front plate is what I understand needs changed over. The bellhousing isn't different. 201's and 226's all have the same bolt pattern. Pretty straight forward swap.

You will have to grind some off the frame rail for the governor casting on the block. Be the right side of the block, it'll hit the frame, grind like a 1/8-1/4 off and as wide as the casting.
