Original rims were galvanized so a paint that would give them that apperance is what I would use. JB

What color should they be? Whatever color you like best. No seriously, Most all of the rear rims were galvanized and many people have been using Rustoleoum "Hammer Finish" silver paint (brushed on) for a similar look. There do appear to be a limited number of factory photos floating around with painted rear rims, but most people agree this is extremely unusual. The front rims/wheels were originally body color. You will see many with a silver rim around the outside. This is not factory. One color, orange. Now with all that, I thought cream paint looked good on my B and I left them like that!

C rear rims came from the factory galvanized and the front rims orange . On my C , I painted the rear rims with Rust-oleum Hammered Silver. the paint leaves a swirled look like they were galvanized. Hope this helps Bill
