Some rumors are floating around that Versatile is bringing out a combine in North America.  I am assuming it would be a Rostelmash from the parent company.  Hopefully they will put in a quality engine and have good fit and finish or they won't have a chance.  Maybe build it in Winnipeg at the tractor plant?
What do you think?

I have heard the same but nothing directly from the company as we are a dealer.  Biggest problem I think they will have is getting it tier 4 and the fit and finish like you said.  After spending all that money on one I dont know if it will be reasonable for a smaller scale.  My uncle exports used machinery all over the world, most countrys buy equipment made in North America becasue it is made to last for years where the rest of the world is only concerned with 3-5 year life of equipment.

Hello Dale.  I would think their best route would be to build the mill and body in Russia and put the whole thing in a seacan and add the engine, drives, sheet metal (or fibreglass!), and cab here.
If they send something Belarus style, they will be behind before they even start.
