I just changed the hydraulic oil and power director oil in the D17. It's been a good 18 months since I last drove it, but I don't remember the high side of the power director being a little weak. I refilled both compartments with Hytran. What came out of the P.D. smelled like 80W-90. Refilling with the lighter Hytran wouldn't have anything to do with that would it?

I suppose it could be that the fresh engine produces enough more power. It definitely responds quickly to throttle movement. |
