One of my customers is a photographer for the local paper.  He wanted to get some shots of me spreading manure at the local school/community garden.  I was hoping they would have used the pic of the old D17D pulling the spreader and flinging the dung....but I guess JD sells LOL!

Eldon, you keep spreading manure like that and we are going to think you are a politician. If the photographer is from the city he may not know what a manure spreader looks like. Ask him to follow along behind and get some pictures.
Just an old country boy saved by the grace of God.

He was just heading into work...wouldn't come close to where I was loading the manure.  I had 4 dump truck loads to spread...he got there just as I was cleaning up and getting ready to spread the 14th and last manure spreader load.  This was the manure full of rocks that took out my beater teeth....

I was spreading it on the plowed ground that me and the local tractor club had plowed two weeks ago.  It was all the 17 could do to pull that NH spreader full on that soft ground....traction wise.
