Anyone have any use for these engines?
So far nobody has bid on these. Loo. There are some 6 cyl's available also.

I could easily go nuts on some of this stuff if I had the cash and time. Not just in CO but everywhere in the US. Some of it, especially scrap can go for some big change. May have some sleepers here if you can use them.

We have a surplus 3500 in our 220, they run a bit more than those engines. They can a good buy as long as you are careful what you purchase.  Some are newly rebuilt, some are used take outs. Some are complete, some not but all come with the same warrenty, LOL.

A guy here in Colorado bought two of them, I think he paid the min 150.00, can't give them away, I see them on ebay from time to time, started out around 5 grand I think, now he is down around 500 bucks.  They would make a great project engine, if you needed about 75 HP, like a deep well or something, but I don't think AC actually put them in anything that we use everyday.

I wonder what the Government used them in?  Twenty five years ago I got a Ford 5' brush hog for $150 at Ft Carson, worked fine until I hit a stump with it last year.  Needs a new input shaft on the gear box.  Always wanted a 151 jeep but never got beyond the wanting stage.
