I am finishing a full rebuild on the deluxe seat on our D-17.  Lets just say it was very well used and needed all custom made bushings to get the pivots back into shape and centered.  One thing I am missing, according to the parts book, is a rubber bumper mounted to the frame that bumps against the seat pan when in the lower position.  The part is discontinued and ours is long gone so I have nothing to measure.  Anybody have one good enough to give me a diameter and height?  Thank you for the help.  Mike

A valve stem from a tire works well. I use the little garden tractor ones. HTH Tracy Martin

I'm glad I saw this post. My seat suspension was in about the same shape...
