Helped my wife's cousin boil off a couple of batches of Maple Syrup yesterday here in the mountains of Schoharie County.

Actually, he never sells any; that sign belonged to his uncle who used to sell syrup back in the 60s and 70s. By the time he gives some to all the volunteer helpers, co-workers, family and friends, he has hardly enuf left for himsel.  LOL
He also donates all of the REAL maple syrup used by our local fire dept. at their monthly pancake breakfasts.
I guess you can call it a labor of love!
